Buy #1: Santi Aldama

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 | 25.7 | .456 | .500 | 2.1 | 14.7 | 6.4 | 2.6 | 0.7 | 0.7 | 1.7 |
The Grizzlies are reeling, and looking for anything to try and save the season. Santi has seen massive usage in his last few games as he has worked his way back from injury. He’s playing small forward in a massive lineup that has all of him, JJJ, and Biyombo – and in that role he has excelled thus far. In his last game, he put up a line of 28/12/6 with 6 3 pointers, and while he won’t do that every game, I don’t see why he won’t have the opportunity to.
Marcus Smart and Ja Morant are still several weeks away, Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams will not be relevant this season, and role players like Luke Kennard or Derrick Rose seem to be getting banged up every game. Memphis is struggling to put a full squad out there on the floor every night, anybody who sees this kind of usage on this injured of a roster is worth a grab.
Relevancy: All leagues and formats.
Buy #2: Grayson Allen

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | 31.9 | .479 | .929 | 2.7 | 12.3 | 4.7 | 2.7 | 0.5 | 0.5 | 1.7 |
If you’re a Bradley Beal owner, I would be worried. Beal has played only 3 games with this back issue, and he was initially listed as probable before a game last week before he was subsequently ruled out for the next 3 weeks shortly after that due to a flare up.
In steps Grayson Allen. Well, in stays Grayson Allen, as he’s had a massive role this season due to Phoenix’s big 3 being banged up early in the year.
He is hitting his 3’s at 49%, which is a pretty insane rate, and probably not sustainable, but he’s a guy that’s not going to hurt you anywhere. He’s an elite streamer or somebody that should be able to just chill on your roster for the next month or so due to his higher floor. He’s ranked just outside of the top 100 currently at 104, but in 12 teamers, that’ll play.
Relevancy: Elite streamer in all leagues and/or nice pickup in 12+ team
Buy #3: The Gobbledy Gooker

Gobbledy has had a rough career. The American has struggled to get his footing in the league in his short time due to his lack of height and lateral quickness, getting blown by on defense consistently. However, he’s turned a corner in recent weeks, with whispers about his importance to team morale growing louder. He excels in leagues that have price per pound as a category, where he averages 1.27 dollars per pound. He dominates in that aspect while we see only marginal viability from other players in that regard. Keep an eye on him, as he may be on your waiver wire.
Relevancy: All leagues and formats.
Sell #1: Jordan Hawkins

Season Stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | 29.6 | .389 | .844 | 2.8 | 13.3 | 3.9 | 2.2 | 0.7 | 0.0 | 1.1 |
I think most people are aware of NOLA’s injury situation. Still, Jordan Hawkins is out here putting up some crazy lines. However, he still only comes in at #188 on the season due to really his only contributing cat being 3’s, and his poor FG on high volume. I do still think he’s a decent hold while CJ is out but he’s on this list because if somebody looks at some of those crazy games he’s put up and wants to give you something half decent for him, I’d smash accept.
Sell #2: Jaden McDaniels

Season Stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 25.6 | .571 | 1.000 | 1.1 | 10.1 | 2.3 | 1.4 | 0.6 | 0.4 | 1.0 |
This isn’t really a sell but more of a call for you to drop. There is literally nothing redeeming about Jaden McDaniels right now. The Herb Jones wanna-be is trotting out some of the emptiest statlines you’ll ever see for a player getting paid as much as he will be on his next contract. There was hardly anything here even when the stocks were coming in due to his lack of boards, assists, and low 3s. But now, when there’s no stocks? There’s nothing.
I mean, I guess he won’t hurt you anywhere? He’s clocked in at #183 on the year thus far ahead of somebody like Dario Saric, but that’s the kind of thing that makes you rethink 9cat rankings in general, as Dario is putting up some really nice lines.
He’s a ghost on your team, and he won’t help you win any category.
