Buy #1: Caris LeVert

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 19 | 29.9 | .420 | .741 | 1.7 | 15.2 | 3.6 | 3.5 | 1.1 | 0.5 | 1.5 |
This may seem obvious to some, but Caris LeVert is still only owned in 52% of Yahoo leagues. Mobley is out until almost the fantasy playoffs, and Darius Garland is reported to miss at least several weeks. LeVert is primed for some massive massive usage.
Here are his lines from when Garland missed 4 games early November:

Not much analysis needed. That’ll play. Add in possibly some additional usage from Mobley, and he is definitely not somebody that should be on the wire in just about any league. The counting stats have been there all year, even with a healthy Cavs squad. This is one where you just need to ignore rank, ignore how he fits into your build, just go get him. The upside is astronomical.
Relevancy: Pickup in all leagues.
Buy #2: Trayce Jackson-Davis

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 16 | 8.3 | .571 | .630 | 0.0 | 3.6 | 2.1 | 0.6 | 0.3 | 0.6 | 0.5 |
Is TJD gonna be somewhat of a winner after the Draymond suspension? Kerr seems determined to make sure he gets some real minutes. And in games where he’s had real minutes, he’s put up some nice numbers. He’s got your standard big man stats, but has demonstrated the ability to rack up nice stock numbers in limited minutes.
He’s had 3 appearances where he’s played more than 15 minutes, and here’s how he played:
Oct 30, 20 minutes played

Almost a double double and 4 blocks, caused a few of us to do a double take in just the 2nd game of the season.
Nov 8, 18 minutes played

Had 4 fouls in this game, somewhat of an underwhelming game, but the minutes were nice to see with no Draymond that day.
Dec 17, 18 minutes played

Shortly after Dray’s “indefinite” suspension, played about the same minutes as both Dario and Kevon Looney, making this situation definitely something to keep your eye on moving forward.
Relevancy: Dynasty buy (or pickup if he’s available). Possible pickup in 14t+ redrafts. At minimum keep an eye on him.
Buy #3: Jose Alvarado

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | 17.5 | .418 | .600 | 1.5 | 7.5 | 2.6 | 2.2 | 1.2 | 0.4 | 1.1 |
Alvarado is probably small potatoes for a lot of people but can be super useful in the right builds. Think TJ McConnell-esque where he’s just a steady stream of low end guard stats with the potential to pop off once in a while. Pretty awesome guy to have at the end of your bench in deeper leagues and in dynasty leagues. Also, it seems he may have supplanted Dyson Daniels in the rotation.
He’s ranked #222 on the season, but he’s dragged way way down by his abysmal FT%. Wouldn’t worry about it too much though as that’s about on non-existent volume. It’s hard to find steals as consistent as his on the wire so he’s in the category of top tier streamers, with the potential for more if an injury were to occur.
Only owned in 5% of leagues on yahoo, so grab him if you need some steals or a streamer.
Relevancy: Elite streamer in 12 teamers, should be owned in 14+ leagues.
Honorable Mention Buy: Naji Marshall

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 18 | 20.1 | .472 | .811 | 1.3 | 8.6 | 4.3 | 2.5 | 0.8 | 0.3 | 1.2 |
Not a ton to say here besides just wanting to put Naji Marshall on more people’s radar. I’m a sucker for guys who can contribute across the board and Naji fits that mold perfectly. Fantastic streamer for any build, and he should definitely be owned in deeper leagues.
Relevancy: Great streamer, should be owned in 14+
Sell #1: John Collins

Season Stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22 | 31.0 | .482 | .750 | 1.4 | 14.5 | 8.6 | 0.9 | 0.6 | 1.0 | 1.4 |
This may be a rare scenario where it could be more beneficial to sell a player while they’re injured. With reports that the Jazz are “Frustrated” with John Collins, it’s not inconceivable that he sees a reduced role upon returning from his injury. Especially with the Jazz getting Taylor Hendricks more involved in recent weeks.
It’s also not a sure thing that a trade helps his value. Not a ton of teams (that have the ability to acquire him in a trade) that are able to give him a massive role. Maybe Philly or Dallas? I’m not sure why a bad team outside of maybe the Pistons would send assets to grab him and take on that cap.
In my opinion, I’d be trying to sell him for someone in the top 100 (he’s currently ranked #101) as he gets closer to a return in redrafts. His future is a bit murky, which clouds my valuation in dynasty leagues as well. He seems like he may be destined for a reduced role on a good team moving forward in his career.
