Buy #1 & #2: Josh Hart & Donte DiVincenzo

Josh Hart season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 32 | 28.4 | .457 | .778 | 0.9 | 7.5 | 5.9 | 2.8 | 0.9 | 0.2 | 1.1 |
Donte DiVincenzo season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 32 | 21.2 | .470 | .733 | 2.5 | 10.5 | 2.9 | 1.8 | 1.1 | 0.3 | 1.0 |
While Immanuel Quickley may turn into the biggest winner from the OG trade, I believe both Hart and Donte will once again become relevant in 12 team redrafts and are a good win-now buy in dynasty leagues. The problem for both of these guys this season is just a total lack of touches, and while OG is going to soak up a decent amount of usage, there will be a decent amount left over from both Quickley and Hart.
Since December 13, Donte has been on a bit of a tear.

He’s ranking #41 in 9cat leagues in those last 10 games, and while yes, he’s propped up a bit by his last game in Indiana, incoming increased usage should help keep those numbers high. It would make sense to assume Donte could have the ball in his hands more as a secondary ball handler, and now seems to have found himself as the backup point guard on a shallow knicks team. If he can get his assists back up to 3.5ish where he had it in Golden State last year, he can be a really nice guy to have.
For Josh Hart, so far the idea of Josh Hart has been a little better than what he’s actually been producing.
His 25 games in New York last year after the trade were phenomenal:

You’ll notice his 3P% over 50, which is pretty absurd and obviously not sustainable, but his FG and 3P% have been slumping so far in the 1st 1/3 of the season. While those should start trending back up to near how he’s performed in the last few seasons of 50ish% and 37ish%, what I’m looking at here is a hopeful increase in counting stats. This is very similar to the Donte situation where somebody is going to need to pick up some of these leftover touches, and I don’t think it’s going to be Malachi Flynn. If those counting stats can get back up to 10-7-3.5 (which is just slightly above where he is now) he’ll once again be that mini Sabonis everyone that drafted him hopes he’ll be.
Relevancy: Elite streamer/possible pickups in 10T, must add in 12t, good buy in dynasty leagues for competing teams.
Buy #2: Kelly Olynyk

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 31 | 22 | .551 | .900 | 0.8 | 8.2 | 5.4 | 4.7 | 0.8 | 0.3 | 1.8 |
Where is the discussion around Kelly?? This dude is averaging the elusive triple single and is performing like a Draymond Green with upside! The out of position assists are elite for big men and he’s not hurting you anywhere. The minutes aren’t very high but he’s got the ball in his hands a ton while he’s out there. A trade probably kills all of his value but this has to be somebody you ride until the wheels fall off. Only 32% owned on yahoo, that number should be way higher. Possibly somebody you can buy in dynasty leagues, but be aware, like I mentioned, a trade may kill his upside.
Relevancy: Elite 10t streamer/possible pickup in certain builds. Strong pickup in 12 teamers.
Buy #3: Dennis Smith Jr.

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 19 | 18.6 | .409 | .826 | 0.5 | 6.9 | 3.0 | 3.7 | 0.9 | 0.2 | 1.1 |
Making his 2nd appearance on the Buy & Sell this season, Dennis Smith has quietly been putting up some nice stat lines after returning from injury

Nothing insane, but he’s establishing himself as a really nice floor guy and putting himself in that elite streamer category. Only 4% owned on Yahoo, anybody in a league deeper than 12 teams should be grabbing him without hesitation. He may even be a hold in 12 teamers for owners desperate for assists. It’s unclear if Ben Simmons will return anytime soon, as the latest report indicated he was still not close. Until then, Dennis Smith will be useable.
Relevancy: Elite streamer in 12 teamers, should be owned in 14+ leagues.
Sell #1: Isaiah Hartenstein

Season Stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 32 | 22.4 | .583 | .683 | 0.0 | 6.1 | 6.8 | 1.7 | 1.0 | 0.9 | 1.0 |
I don’t think the Knicks are done making moves. Yes, Hartenstein has been awesome since Mitch Rob went down with an injury

What concerns me, is how Thibs is so reluctant to start Hartenstein and sometimes seems to only be playing him out of necessity. The Knicks are rumored to be interested in Clint Capela, and it seems unlikely to me that they roll with a Hartenstein/Sims/Taj Gibson back court into the postseason. This is a massive sell high opportunity to me, and if you can get a top 100 player with more job security that’s probably something I’d do. There’s no harm in riding this wave until the wheels fall off, but he’s still a sell for me. Just nobody tell r/Hartenstein
