Buy #1: Brandon Miller

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 34 | 30.5 | .423 | .814 | 2.1 | 14.5 | 4.0 | 2.2 | 0.7 | 0.5 | 1.6 |
Brandon Miller is back from his slump and has healed from his minor injury, and things seem to be shaping up for him to get unleashed.
- Rozier is firmly on the trade block,
- Gordon Hayward, who is currently injured, has been rumored to be a buyout candidate (lol)
- And Miles Bridges, who in his free time has a tendency to beat his wife, is a strong candidate to be traded as well.
He’s had a bit of a rough January thus far, but has bounced back with 2 gems after returning from injury.

Only thing really dragging him down right now is his shots haven’t been falling the past couple weeks. There is some concern where if Terry is on the way out, that the volume increases while the % stay the same. However, if you’re punting FG%, or just in a position where you’re gone a bit overkill on FG, the points, FT%, and boards will be there, a splash of assists and can get both steals and blocks at a somewhat decent rate (although I would like to see more of these)
Rostered in 55% of yahoo leagues, I think Miller needs to be owned in 12+ teams for sure, and he’s an elite end of season stash if your in a 10 team or below. Dynasty, he’s probably unobtainable for cheap, assuming his owner has been watching him. But if you’re able to grab him at a reasonable price, his trajectory seems to be only up from here.
Relevancy: Must own in 12+ team, good pickup in 10t, and luxury stash in 8team. If he’s available in your dynasty league, I’d buy.
Buy #2: Jabari Walker

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 38 | 20.4 | .487 | .763 | 0.6 | 8.5 | 5.9 | 0.9 | 0.7 | 0.4 | 0.9 |
Jabari Walker, somebody who I thought would be irrelevant this season, is turning in his own Trendon Watford-esque run for the Blazers right now.
Here are his recent stats:

The thing missing from him being one of the hottest pickups in fantasy right now is the lack of defensive stats recently. He’s demonstrated the ability to rack up some stocks earlier in the season, but now that he’s averaging almost a double double in the last month, they seemed to have disappeared a bit. However, that does not mean he isn’t useful in the right builds. Big man stats out of the SF spot, (at least on yahoo) can be massively useful for those lacking depth at the position, or anybody who needs additional big man stats in general.
He should play a ton down the stretch with the Blazers going nowhere this season, and random rest days for Jerami Grant and other veterans don’t seem to be too far on the horizon.
He’s only owned in 29% in Yahoo leagues, and I think if you’re in a 14+, he’s a priority add.
Relevancy: Great streamer in 10-12t redrafts, should be added in 14+. Dynasty, he’s likely on waivers or can be had for cheap depending on league size, he’s somebody I would definitely target.
Buy #3: Duop Reath

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | 18.4 | .475 | .763 | 1.4 | 9.6 | 4.1 | 1.2 | 0.5 | 0.5 | 0.8 |
Deandre Ayton has been a big bust for a lot of managers that drafted him early, and to top it off, the Blazers don’t even seem to be fully committed to giving him the majority of the minutes moving forward, with Ayton and Reath both playing 22 in Sunday’s matchup vs the Lakers. Andrew had a really nice write-up on Reath here, so I’ll just say this, if Reath is going to play 20+ minutes as a backup, and has the potential to play 35+ on nights Ayton sits (which may start increasing even more soon), he’s somebody definitely rosterable in 14+ redraft leagues, with the potential to be a very hot pickup in the event of another Ayton injury.
I’d be willing to wager a more casual fantasy manger doesn’t even know who this guy is, and I would assume he’s probably on waivers in your Dynasty league unless it’s a deeper one. Major, major silly season potential here, but not just that, he may even be serviceable until then.
Sell #1: Jerami Grant

Season stats:
| GP | MPG | FG% | FT% | 3PM | PTS | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 37 | 33.9 | .459 | .803 | 2.2 | 21.7 | 3.6 | 2.4 | 0.8 | 0.7 | 2.1 |
More Blazers! As I just mentioned with Jabari Walker, I think random rest days are in the forecast for Jerami Grant shortly. Barring a serious injury, I don’t think they’ll shut him down, but the Blazers aren’t really focused on winning games here.
Adding to this, even with his massive season, he’s still outside the top 100. Probably because of the lack of supporting stats and he averages almost as many turnovers as assists, making this another Cam Thomas situation. He’s a big sell high to somebody the overvalues points, and you need to leverage his recent hot streak in trade talks.
You might ask, why would I be selling Jerami Grant but in recent weeks also list Bojan Bogdanovic as a buy? It looks like they have similar situations.
The main difference here, is that the Pistons are trying their hardest to win games, and the Blazers are not. They have said over and over there are not looking to trade Bojan, and that they need him to be competitive. Which is true. Something supporting this thought is the recent Marvin Bagley trade, where they received both Mike Muscala and Danilo Gallinari and immediately inserted them into the rotation. Sure, the move saves them some cash next year, but they don’t have “player development” at the forefront of their mind the way that the Blazers do.
Sell #2: Goga Bitadze

Ugh! Just my top buy 2 weeks ago, Goga fell completely out of the rotation in Orlando’s last game. Barring a trade or an injury, Mosely seems content with running a 3 headed monster at center with both Goga and Wagner at risk for a DNP on any given night. He can no longer be trusted in redraft leagues. However, if the whispers about a potential Wendell Carter Jr. trade are true, Goga should be the main winner. Stash him or buy low in dynasty leagues, they’ve been so good with him starting.
Go swap him out for Duop Reath in your redraft if you can.
